Tech changes so fast anyway. the “perfect” skillset now won’t even be relevant in 2 years. Just hire the learners!!
PREACH 😤 they’d rather wait 4 months for a “unicorn” than train someone who’s already 90% there and actually wants to be there. makes no sense
Meanwhile folks who are hungry, motivated, and willing to learn get passed up cause they “only” have 1 year in a tech that came out last year. Like bruh, by the time you pick Mr. Perfect™, that other person could’ve been trained and promoted. it’s not that hard hire the one who wants to grow, not the one who just checks boxes. ugh. this system is wild broken
